Dear Phillips Elementary Families,

My name is Brooke Ryder, and I am honored to return for my second year as President of the Phillips PTA for the 2026–2027 school year. As both a parent and an active member of this wonderful school community, I am excited to continue in this role and further strengthen the collaborative partnership between our families and school staff. As your PTA President, my goals are simple:

   • Strengthen the connection between home and school

   • Keep our focus on what matters most—our children—by creating opportunities for them to learn, grow, and feel confident and loved

   • Support our teachers and staff so they can continue to do what they do best—teach and inspire our children

   • Foster a spirit of inclusiveness, volunteerism, and school pride across our diverse and vibrant community

We are already working on plans for the year ahead, filled with opportunities to connect, support, and celebrate. From family and community events to fundraisers and student enrichment programs, there is truly something for everyone—and we would love for you to be a part of it.

Whether you are a returning family or new to Phillips, I encourage you to get involved in any way that works for you. Your time, talents, and ideas are always valued and appreciated. Together, we can make this a wonderful year for our students and our school.

We are currently looking to fill several PTA board positions. Please take a moment to review the interest form and see if there is a role that may be a good fit for you. Serving on the board is a great way to support your student and get involved at the school—we would love to have you join us! https://forms.gle/duBCfUDJS4mXDmZ48

I would like to personally invite you to join the Phillips PTA. Please know that joining does not require a time commitment—your membership simply makes you an advocate for every child at our school. While we always welcome volunteers and meeting attendance, it is never required. Everyone contributes in different ways, and your support—at any level—makes a meaningful difference.
